Alice's Diamond Slipper

Slipper sired the winning R.I.D. foal at The Royal Show 2004/2008, other progeny include "Leighland Toledo" who competes at Prix St. George and has over 340 British Dressage Points, "Sidney Ruff Diamond" BSJA Grade A Showjumper. "Jaunty Star" R.I.D. Standing in Canada and "Deards Catchphrase" Youngstock Champion and winner of the Irish Draught Performance Horse 4 - 6 years at the Irish Draught Breed Show 2007. “Bowland Lucky Slipper” who won and was champion at the Great Yorkshire Show 2010, he then went on to win the NFU youngstock challenge and stood reserve NFU champion as well being the Irish Draught youngstock champion and supreme youngstock champion at the Irish Draught Breed Show 2010 and 2011.

His breeding is all R.I.D. and his sire "Creggan Diamond" was a Grade A showjumper and produced many show winning R.I.D. stock. "Creggan Diamond's" sire was "Diamond Lad", he sired 623 foals and progeny included 2 R.I.D. and 3 Sport Horse Stallions and "Heather Blaze" who in 1992 won the Calgary Challenge and Millstreet Derby. "Diamond Lad" was the son of the legendary "King of Diamonds" who was without doubt the most successful and influential stallion in Irish Sport Horse breeding, himself a Grade A show jumper.

Slipper's Dam bred many champions including the 1996 Champion I.D. foal at the National Irish Draught Show.

Slipper has an outstanding temperament, a combination of gentleness, intelligence and is well mannered both in and out of the stable. A true I.D. type having 10 inch bone, a compact horse with excellent straight paces.

"Favour" A four year old small hunter owned by HRH the Queen by Alice's Diamond Slipper has qualified for the 2011 Horse of the Year Show amongst various other wins in her first season under saddle.
